Pre-Fall 2019 : Blitzkrieg
Presented at SMC LA Mode 2019 Fashion Show
This collection is inspired by vintage military uniforms and the outfits worn by characters from Japanese video games I played growing up. I used durable textiles such as black and olive cotton canvas, foil infused calf leather, and silver hardware such as zippers, grommets, and oversized safety pins to mimic the textiles and details used in military uniforms as well as some of the outfits worn by these video game characters.
